- They are all sitting in court
- Yakone Bloodbends the entire room in broad daylight
- Later Aang attacks Yakone and defeats him using the Avatar State
Interesting.
Though there are so many awesome theories out there, I really think we’ll have to wait for (possibly the next) another episode to really clarify it all.
There are going to be some happy people with correct head canons, though, that’s my guess :D

Yakone could bloodbend multiple people without it even being night time. It appears to be during the day during this flashback and Yakone was strong enough to bend several people simultaneously. damn
